MANHATTAN 2015: Julia Hamilton, an Interior Designer, begins to research her Swedish heritage. She discovers that her Great Uncle Per was a Swedish Diplomat who joined forces with an underground group in Germany and saved Polish and French people from the Nazis during WWII. As she comes to know more about the missions, she begins to write a journal and suddenly her life in 2015 is intertwined with her deceased uncle’s life in 1940.

EUROPE 1940: Julia’s journal takes her back in time to Berlin and Stockholm. She learns that her uncle was not able to complete his work before being cut down in the prime of his life. Julia’s own mission is then to finish her uncle’s work. She finds that she is on the right trail when she meets a man, seemingly by chance, who is privy to some of the information that she has written in her journal.
